Wave goodbye to expensive lotions and creams as we bring to you natural skincare tips.

Soothe your dry skin with Olive Oil

Dry, flaky, and dull skin can affect your level of confidence. With some daily olive oil face massage that moisturizes and hydrates the skin naturally, you can really splurge that confidence level. As the saying goes, “You look good, you feel good!” Olive oil can work as a natural cleanser without absorbing your skin’s natural oils and thus is the best option to soothe dry skin.

Milk and Almond Face Pack

Are itchy skin, cracks, and skin irritation your reasons to hate winter?

If so, it’s time for you to be friends with milk and almonds. Thanks to the anti-inflammatory properties and lactic acid in milk that nourishes the skin from within. It also exfoliates and moisturizes your skin keeping it fresh and young!

  • Prepare a thick paste by mixing milk and almond powder.

  • Rinse off after 10 -15 minutes

Almonds restore the moisture balance of your skin and their bioactive compounds make the skin more supple and healthy.

Sugar and Olive Scrub

A traditionally practised home remedy for dry skin; sugar and olive oil is easiest and a very effective exfoliating scrub. All you need is 2tbsp of olive oil for half a cup of sugar. You can add in essential oil to give it a flavour and fragrance. Gently rub it on your face and in the upward direction on your neck. Make sure not to affect your acne or other problem areas if any. With regular use, the scrub answers to your winter skin problems.

Oatmeal Mask

The work from a home culture has definitely given us puffy eyes and left us with no time for personal care. But the oatmeal mask is something you can put on and carry out your work simultaneously.

  • Mix oats with honey in 2:1 ratio
  • Add a few drops of water and apply to your face
  • Leave it for 15-20 min before washing it off.

The mask rejuvenates the skin and hydrates it, making you winter-ready.

Aloe Vera for The Rescue

If you don’t have aloe vera growing at your home, think not to steal it from your neighbours. Cause it’s all worth it! Aloe vera is an instant reply to dry skin. Scrape off the inner gel and you can use it along with almond oil or sesame oil to prepare a daily skincare routine. You can apply this mixture on your feet to address the cracks and make it soft.

The vitamins present in aloe vera nourishes and softens the skin giving it a natural glow. Apply it on your face overnight and rinse off the next day morning. Consistent care can show better results making your skin healthy and lively!
